Best way to meet new people in cl?

i wouldn't say i'm an antisocial person. i have friends and can usually meet them easily. but i'm in a smaller cl this year (around 30 ppl) and most ppl already have friends. most ppl go in in pairs of like trios and i don't know anyone. if nobody knew each other i can meet people but if they already know each other and are talking amongst each other i don't know how i can join.. i'm in uni btw and so i've been used to big cles and talking to ppl in lectures but this is a smaller cl so idk.. :P
