I want to be a "MUSLIM" and also a "civil servant".?

I am from INDIA. I am very much moved by the religion of ISLAM and its teachings. And i firmly believe that there is no god but ALLAH. I want to get into civil services to stop the corruption that is a synonym in india to every public department, to ameliorate the living standard of people and also to enforce law of the land effectively so that a common man can live with respect and dignity. Moreover sometimes I think that this all is worldly. I am confused. Can I be a true believer and be a good government officer simultaneously ?
