Is the Antichrist a famous person or just an idea? Or could it be a person you know personally?

According to Revelation, the final book of the Bible, the Antichrist will eventually be a very famous person indeed, revered by many as a god. But until he reaches that level of notoriety, he may be relatively obscure. Although I suspect he will be born into a position of power and prestige, making his rise to power easier.
