Why does the left keep saying that....?

Obama is such an intelligent person because he had such good grades in college? How do they know? His transcripts have never been published and any fellow students are nowhere to be found. They said the same thing about John Kerry being so much smarter than President Bush until his transcripts were released and President Bush's GPA was higher than Kerry's. So how can the left make such a statement in ignorance?
